I am a Product Designer and entrepreneur creating my first product to market outside of a typical job role. This product has been in development for almost 5 years. Recently, it has been developed fully as a product design concept. There have been some underlining moments where critical decisions now need to be made.
--Scope of the work--
(Audio Product-Over ear headphones)
(typical competitors: Bose, Sony, JBL, Skull Candy etc.)
This is where you come in, aiding in the final stages of developing a successful prototype. The product you would be helping with is essentially a traditional pair of over-ear headphones but with a few stand-out USPs. And after a successful prototype this product will be moved onto its next stage of release.
This project is not overly large, in fact, it is on the outset-quite simple. However, it is the electronic components within this product that is subjected to multiple design iterations and possibilities.
For successfully helping in developing my product, I would ideally want an electrical engineer with intermediate to advanced experience. This level of expertise would ensure that my chosen engineer has a solid understanding of hardware design principles, component integration, and electrical system development. You should be proficient in designing and prototyping 'system on modules', have experience with other common wireless technologies and audio systems, and possess knowledge of power management and battery integration. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards related to electronics would be beneficial.
--How fast do I need it delivered?--
We will agree on a timescale that is suitable.
--Will you work with a team or work independently?--
You will work with myself, since I'm the primary Product Designer for this product. It would be most beneficial to report to myself who can help with design improvements and suggestions.
--Is there potential for more work?--
There is good potential for you to have a share within this business after this product is launched.
--What I don’t understand about the job and how you can help--
My practical electrical application knowledge is limited-I am familiar with electrical design practises and different hardware specs. However, physically integrating these pieces together is not my strong point.
--Required experience--
// Electrical engineering knowledge.
// Practical and physical electrical component application knowledge.
// System on modules and how it can be implemented.
// Space management within electrical components.
// Cost effective ways to put these electrical components together.
--Helpful links and references to explain the desired style--
These will be given to you in detail, if you are accepted for this project.
I am more than happy to elaborate on some points mentioned if you feel there is more to cover,
Thanks for reading this post,

I'm a Manchester based electrical and electronic engineer with 5 years of experience bringing concepts, ideas and early prototype devices into mature prototypes and mass manufacture candidates ideal for investor demonstrations, crowd funding, or verification of design concepts. As well as this I have valuable experience in bringing my own ideas and concepts to sale, managing the full design and manufacture of my own electronic projects.
- Years of practical experience designing electronic systems and Printed Circuit Boards, including awareness of component pricing and shortages required for cost optimised and mass manufacture designs.
- Over a decade of experience in the development of software and firmware. The bulk of this is in the development of embedded systems and firmware for various microcontrollers. This includes experience with audio-visual devices such as projectors.
As well as this experience with application development predominantly in C#, Python and VB.Net, which I sometimes use to create demo apps for hardware.
- Experience of many of the regulations and directives covering CE/UKCA self-certification and other regulatory responsibilities with consumer electronics devices sold both in the UK and internationally.
- 3D CAD experience, including design of the enclosure and internal structure, as well a use of professional 3D printing services with awareness of the materials and parameters involved to facilitate rapid verification and iteration.

Hello, I am an experienced Electrical Engineer with 4 years of experience in PCB Designs and Microcontroller Development. I understand you are seeking an innovative Hardware Engineer for Cutting-Edge Headphone Product Development and hope that I can help with your project.
I am confident that my skillset is ideal for developing your headphone product as it combines electrical engineering knowledge with practical and physical electrical component application knowledge as well as system on modules implementation. Additionally, space management within electrical components is important to me so that designs are cost effective.
I would be delighted to discuss this project further if there is anything else you require or need clarification on. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or would like to set up a time for us to discuss further.
I have more than 9 years experience in embedded hardware/PCB design and firmware development . and i have already done audio based worked on my past products . if you want to see a demo than I will send you a video of it and design of it .
1) Time line is based on your requirement .
2) I can help you to selection of electronics part and also design a hardware with PCB and make a prototype of it with production line .
3) also I can do your help to develop a firmware of it .
Hi,
I am an electrical and electronics engineering graduate and I think this project would provide a perfect opportunity for me to get some hands on experience before my masters in October. I would like to volunteer my services and we can discuss the details in the chat
