Overview
To organise and manage social media dissemination of Terra Viva Grants Directory's published opportunities in order to provide a valuable services, build a community, reach more people and connect with donors and key influencers.
Cycles
We work on a monthly cycle that will be easy for you to learn and follow. We post new grants to “Funding News” and add them to our database at intervals of every 10-11 days. We normally post on the 1-2, 10-11, and 20-21 of each month (sometimes adjusted forward or backward due to weekends, holidays, or inconveniences on my side). We also post a “Monthly Update” on the 15-16. In other words, there are four key TVGD events per month.
For each cycle the consultant must provide a social media calendar that will cover three opportunities each day to be posted on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Each calendar will include the copy for each channel including relevant @nametags, #hashtags, and appropriate images. Images will be sourced on a bespoke basis using Google image search.
The calendar will be submitted for approval with any requested changes implemented before posts are scheduled online for Facebook and Twitter. LinkedIn posts should be posted to 3 or 4 relevant groups each on a daily basis. An example calendar is attached for reference.
Daily
Every day the Freelancer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining TVGD's social media channels. This will include answering questions, replying to messages and posts, networking with individuals and organisations, providing advice, and ensuring that everything is up to date and in order.
End of Month Report
At the close of each month, a report detailing social media activity and performance will be submitted to the TVGD team. An example report is attached for reference.
Training and Support
The freelancer will have the opportunity to undergo training to help them to become acclimatized with the process, systems and people involved in the process. Regular feedback on output will be provided to help improve performance.
