I have a very simple requirement to add a Save & Restore function to PDF forms, which we will code, via a Workspace & LiveCycle Server API. HOWEVER I need a few days of someone able to extend the PDF interface.
Ideally it would work like this.
The user has been served a PDF form in a Window on a browser.
They click a button and a panel (about 1cm wide) slides out of the side of the PDF form revealing two icons, a save icon & a restore icon. Clicking save saves the form as is and displays a nice thank you message with reference.
Next time sliding out the panel and clicking restore, either asks for a reference (or if it already has it - and the adobe form will have this as a URL Parameter) pulls back the entry and populates the eform.
Of course we can do this ourslves using buttons in the PDF, but we are keen to start learning Flex.
