Hi, I'm a professional media developer with experience in game development and I'm very interested in your job post involving these skills. I have recently created a couple of demos to show off my skills. The first demo (see below) is a 2D side scroller fighting demo. It was developed in Visual C##, using the XNA Framework which is used to created for Xbox development. Since it is the first time a game console has free development tools I decided to check it out and see how it works. The demo works best with a gamepad but I coded in keyboard controls for PC demo purposes. The artwork in the game are not created by me (as you will soon see) I didn't have time to create the artwork so I grabbed some spritesheets created by Capcom. Since its a demo, I think its ok to use ;-) The second demo was made in Flash using AS3. I was curious how flash performs with the new language AS3. Its a top down shooter, think Galaga meets Rtype. I created the graphics in 3D Studio Max and Photoshop. I am available to chat by IM, email or Skype, and would be happy to set up a convenient time to discuss your game demo.
