Data Architect - GCP

11-Months Contract Full-time Role Working Location: Bangalore NP: Immediate Joiners Data Architect GCP - 8+ years of experience in building, architecting, designing/implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems. - Experience in network infrastructure, security, and application development. - Strong experience using GCP specific services like Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Stack Driver, Anthos etc.. is a must to have. - Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space. - Hands on programming skills in any of the following: Python, Java, or Scala. - Java Spark-based development experience will be a plus. - Experience in architecting high available Cloud Native systems using serverless, microservice, reactive architecture standards. - Experience in migrating application from on prem to cloud, hybrid and multi cloud experience is needed. - Strong record of accomplishment successfully implementing Cloud services in a variety of distributed computing environments. - Experience with configuration management platforms (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible). - Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins). - Experience with Cloud management tools (e.g. monitoring, automation, orchestration, etc.) and containers (e.g. Docker, Rocket, Microsoft Server containers, Hyper-V containers). - Experience implementing ZERO downtime in production systems. - Proven experience in communicating and demonstrating the value of cloud solutions to a variety of stakeholders to address complex and competing drivers in complex technical environments. - Demonstrated experience with the SDLC/Agile (SW Development Lifecycle). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent presentation skills. - Ability to travel to client locations as needed. - Google Cloud certification is a must to have for this position.
