GOLF HEATING COMPARTMENT

GOLF BALL HEATING COMPARTMENT\\r\\n\\r\\nThe invention relates to a device that would be used to heat up golf balls to a temperature that would increase the elasticity of the ball\'s core thus enabling it to travel farther when struck. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe device is intended to enable a golf ball to travel farther than would otherwise be the case when struck with the same amount of force, particularly during periods of cold weather when the ambient temperatures may work to reduce the ball\'s distance even more than might otherwise be the case.\\r\\n\\r\\nThe device serves as a functional aid to help golfers achieve more distance when driving the ball. The heat generated by the device would service to cause the ball\'s core to expand, thus increasing its elasticity and generating more recoil when struck by the club. This, combined with the golfer\'s level of strength and accuracy would work to propel the ball further than would otherwise be the case if the ball were left at the ambient temperature of the surrounding environment.\\r\\n\\r\\nThis invention provides an elongated housing capable of accommodating between 9 and 18 balls. Each ball compartment is equipped with a heating element powered by, rechargeable batteries and or small solar panels or by electric power. A thermostat switch is used to regulate the temperature settings for each compartment by between 5 and 18 degrees. A digital voltage/temperature meter is incorporated and used to indicate the settings of each compartment as well as regulating the each one\'s settings. The device would be accompanied by a clip, which could be used to secure the container to the golf bag. \\r\\n\\r\\nA preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:\\r\\n\\r\\nFigure 1 shows overall design and a cross section of the compartment.\\r\\n\\r\\nFigure 2 shows the overall design and cross section of the device\\r\\n\\r\\nAs shown in the cross section the device has within its base a heating element. The centre of the cross section in Figure 1 is where a golf ball would be contained.\\r\\n\\r\\nThe overall design of Figure 1 shows how each of the golf balls would be contained within their own compartment with solar panels attached to the lid of each compartment should solar power be used.\\r\\n\\r\\nFigure 2 shows where batteries could be inserted at point F. A power point could be inserted at point A. \\r\\n\\r\\nPoint D indicates the clip in order for the device to be attached to a golf bag. Point B indicates a voltage/temperature digital meter to indicate the settings of the various power sources as well as adjusting the settings of the individual compartments\\r\\n
