Hi there, I love your Green Things poem! I think I understand what type of illustration work you'd like for your book - spot illustrations that would visualize a key point in a verse. If that is correct, in my estimation Green Things poem would need 5-6 spot illustrations, no background. I would personally enjoy doing the illustrations in watercolours/gouache (although I'm comfortable with all traditional media) and I imagine juicy, saturated colours in a style halfway between cartoony and realistic. Something similar to a boy in a basket of apples in my portfolio. I can share more samples of what I have in mind, but I would also be happy to discuss your ideas over chat. In the process of work, I would first draft pencil sketches and after they are approved, would proceed with painting. I would deliver digital files (high res scans).
