Circular Food Forest Creation

I'm aiming to transform part of my backyard into a nourishing circular food garden/ forest. I envision this space not just as a source of food but also as a sanctuary where the beauty of nature and the bounty of my labor come together. Here's what I have in mind and what I'm looking for in a freelancer: - **Designing a Circular or free flow Food Forest:** The core of this project is to design a garden that harmoniously blends aesthetics with productivity. This garden should include designated areas for leafy greens,root vegetables, assorted berries, tomatoes, green beans, and other produce. I would also like to incorporate flowers, benches, and other magical garden attributes. Maybe a special entrance etc - **Pathways:** I’d like the paths to serve a dual purpose; they should be functional, allowing easy access and maintenance of the garden areas, while also adding decorative value. The design should consider the overall aesthetic and integrate seamlessly with the circular theme and lead somewhere . - **Space Management:** With a diverse and tree heavy property, smart spatial planning is a must. Experience with which vegetable and berries will do best under what circumstances a necessity. The design should optimize this space, ensuring that there's a balance between the different plant types and the garden paths, creating a cozy and magical space without overcrowding. I am open to ideas on where to put garden space on the property as there is tree coverage to contend with. I would want someone to be able to come site visit and asses what im working with. **Ideal Skills and Experience:** - Experience in landscape design, particularly in food gardens or forests. - Knowledge about leafy greens and root vegetables, including their space requirements and complementary planting techniques. - Creative ability to design paths that are both beautiful and practical. - Capability to work with large spaces and turn them into cohesive, functional, and visually appealing outdoor areas. **Your Role:** - Design a detailed plan that outlines the placement of plants and paths, keeping in mind the circular theme if possible. - Provide a list of recommended plants that fit my preferences and the garden's design and sun requirements.
