Hi, I have a business, (Pizza Shop) , and i relay on my Landline Phone for business. I get many delivery calls etc.
My phone company disconnected my phone line, and ive been without a phone line for over 15 days. I was then told from the phone company to write up a document that shows my expenses and losses for the business in that time period,
Required: I will need a proffessional document that lists down my losses and expences, ( and what i am able to claim for this incident.

We can treat the income forgone as opportunity cost because the income you could have earned in 15 days is lost so according to accounting principles we should anticipate losses. This is the phone company's incompetency.
I would prepare a profit and loss statement for the period showing lost revenue as well as additional expenses incurred due to the disconnected phone. You can email me a list of expenses and your total turnover for the previous 3 months. I can then calculate and prepare a statement in PDF format showing your total loss due to the disconnection. Also ask your employees to submit their own additional expenses incurred.
