I've worked on many projects catering to different industries like Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas and Chemical Industries. Peristaltic pumps are commonly available and can be very acuratly controlled by many microcontrollers. I have designed and built a few of these types of equipment where pumping small amounts of liquid of various densities. Many where set to a timer and was used in various configurations from misting to droplets and even wetting.
