INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTORS ONLY, NO AGENCIES & NO CLIENT MANAGERS I'm seeking someone to make the following changes to our wordpress website: -- Updating the theme to the latest version. Right now we are using the older version of the Kallayas theme, and would like to the latest one. -- Update to the latest version of bootstrap to improve mobile experience of the website on variety of devices and fixing layout issues on mobile screens. There are many issues on mobile screens, with the layout, images and overall experience. The mobile layout and menu bar has to be fixed as it appears wonky when loaded on a phone. - Fix errors which show on W3C validator - Ensure there are no issues with responsiveness. - Improving the load time of the website by minimizing the images, caching and minifying the coding. I would like the load time to be less than 2 secounds. - Reducing the use of plug ins, the site current has over 10+ plug ins which is excessive - Making the images fluid so the end person is able to see the entire image on their mobile screen - Fixing functionality of the 'more' button on the right hand side of the page (will be explained in greater detail) You should be able to think outside of the box and come up with novel solutions. I have been developing websites for quite a long (around 6 years to be exact) and during that time I have completed a lot of projects of this kind. Some of the task you require are simple, but reducing the loading time and number of plugins, could be more time consuming. A lot of theme developers rely on additional plugins to provide some functionality in their product, so it is not easy just to remove them. All the removed things have to be added custom.
