i have an affiliate system setup that when a user clicks on a link a cookie is placed on that user's computer (from domain [login to view URL]) and then redirected to the targeted advertisers page. The cookie contains the affiliate referrer'd id. Once a transaction has been completed on that advertisers web page they are taken to that advertisers thank you page. such as [login to view URL] I need to pixel that page so that it gets tracked and I have to be able to read that cookie and update my database. I am able to pixel the [login to view URL] page with the code <img src="[login to view URL]"> and the [login to view URL] file executes... except it is unable to read the cookie... i guess because I am trying to read it from bbb.com. Is there any way around this?! Can i read this cookie from the advertisers domain rather than the domain that put the cookie. Or some other typ eof solution?! I can use asp.net/asp/php.
