MIDI to PCM DirectShow filter

I need a MIDI to PCM DirectShow filter. The conversion should be done by the sound card (since most, if not all, sound card can handle the MIDI in hardware). You will need to find the API to intecept the sound card PCM buffer and copy back to the filter and send it out. The requirements. 1. The project should be written in VC6. 2. It should be a transform filter. 3. Its input pin connects to the MIDI Parser filter, standard in DX. 4. It should check whether a sound card exist, and whether the sound card handles MIDI, and send out an error somehow. 5. It should provide the following sample rate options, 8khz, 12khz, 16khz, 22.1khz, 24khz, 32khz, 44.1khz, 48khz, 96khz, in either stereo or mono, 16 bit (8-bit optional if it is easy to implement). Those output format should be listed as the media types in the output pin. 6. When connected to the next filter, the conversion will use the connection media type to set the conversion parameters - sample rate, channel and bits/sample. 7. It must run on 98, ME, 2000, XP. When the project finishes, please send the filter first and I will test it. I will only accept the project after the filter passes my testing. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP.
