I'm having a small workshop in the city. And already 150 people have registered. But I only want a fixed number to be able to attend as the room can only take a fixed number of people. ========================================= So I want a system to be created, where: ======================================= 1) Where I send all 150 people an email to register on a first-come-first-serve basis (This will be done using my own email server and requires no programming). 2) The people who click on the link in their email, are taken to a web page. That web page will have a form with a) Name b)Email Address c) Verification of Email address. 3) When the person fills in their information to get a seat, if the seat is available, they are taken to a 'thank you' page which displays a number. So if the person is the first to register, they'd be taken to a page, where it would say something like: Congratulations, you have made it. Your seat number is 001. Please print this and bring it to the event itself. (And if they're Person no. 50, then it would say: You're person No.50) 4) When the allocated seats have been filled and there are no seats left, then the page should display. All seats taken. This should be automatic. The criteria is that the application must be changeable to reflect seats available. If there are 150 seats available, then I should be able to change it to xxx seats. If there are 100,000 seats available, then it should be able to display xxxxx (I know those numbers are large, but I still want to have that as part of functionality in case we do move to larger numbers)
