I have a fully functional financial application written in Microsoft Access 2000 Visual Basic and I want to enhance the front-end by replacing my plain looking main menu with a Quicken like user interface. A screen image is included in the zip file to illustrate what I want to have accomplished. The main features are: · Scrolling list of accounts, grouped by category and sub-totaled. · Data entry occurs in the tabbed register screen · Pulldown menu · Toolbar The data for the account list is to be read from the Accounts table. This code for this GUI must be fully intergrated with Access and be capable of calling an existing startup routine where I initialize global variables, query tables, and create log files. Another requirement is that the pulldown menu call forms/dialog boxes I have already developed in Access. Once I have the GUI, I will test it by modifing the pulldown menu so it calls my forms/dialog boxes. I can lend you my copy of Quicken to help you with the look and feel issues. The end product should look and feel as close to Quicken as possible. The two most important features are covered by the first two bullet points and they should function exactly like they do in Quicken. In order to satisfy my requirements, the GUI must intergate seemlessly with my application. Due to the confidential nature of my code and data it contains, I cannot provide you with a copy of my application. Please note that all source must be supplied.
