Text File Import to SQL Server

Create a SQL Server 2000 stored procedure(s) to 1.? identify any Text files residing in a *file directory*, where the Text Files have the correct format name, and 2.? append the content of those files to a SQL Server table called DATA_IMPORTED_RAW, identifying any import errors. Document your testing.
