Java Class on Oracle 10g

We are in the process of deploying java application on OAS 10g. As per the documentation a WAR (zip) file needs to be created with the directory structure similar to the structure required for deployment on the server. Once we try to deploy it through the enterprise manager on clicking of 'Deploy WAR file', it is throwing an error Failed to deploy web application "searchengine". Failed to deploy web application "searchengine". . Base Exception: Jar file: /tmp/[login to view URL] is missing its standard xml descriptor located at WEB-INF/[login to view URL] Resolution: We have included the [login to view URL] file even then the error keeps generating.
