Screen Sharing Web App

I am requesting a web application that will be integrated with online user accounts to launch a desktop connection to a remote computer. The remote computer will be an OSX Server (10.5) machine in a virtual environment. The connection must be secure, selective (to which machine it is connecting to via port or other methods), user friendly, and responsive. The web application must support windows and mac platforms on the client end (XP, Vista, Leopard). Any installation of client plugins or software is acceptable but such actions must be able to run through the web browser. Must run through a 2mbit connection at 1024x768 resolution or less and maintain easy editing of documents, websites, or photos. It may tap into VNC, Screen Sharing, or the X server of the host computer - or any other method you suggest. Any of the above is acceptable as long as it does it well. The application must be able to return any variable to the host site on application close so that the host web site may take a specific action. Lastly on application open any variables that control which machine it connects to must be able to be sent over from the web site so it is dependent on the user account. Don't worry about specific account names - we can take care of all that in our web site. We just need to be able to send connection variables to the web application you create. Sound is definitely not required but would be a plus. Please specify in your quote if this would be included. ## Deliverables List of Function 1) Launch via web page 2) The application must be able to send out a variable to the web site on close. 3) Application must run relatively smoothly over a 2mbit Connection at 1024x768 or less resolution (enough to edit documents). 4) Application must be secure 5) Application must be able to connect to a specified host machine via variance in port number or other method. 6) Connection variables must be able to be sent to the application via web site 7) Application must be run and via web browser 8) If any client installation must be performed it must take place in the web browser 9) Application must be supported by Vista, XP, and Leopard Clients in IE, Firefox, or Safari and connect to a Leopard host. 10) It is ok to install custom software on the Leopard host your method requires it. 9) Please ask any questions about information I have not made clear.
