hi DNA: I have a few questions about your post. The website you are referring to, does it have a captcha in place? Once the results are provided, does the site have pagination? Eg. Page 1, 2, 3, etc What is the 'specific data', and does that data change from record-to-record? csv exports or mysql imports are not a problem. I'm bringing 15 yrs web exp., with many bots/scrapers written in py/js/php. I have about 350m+ scraped records on my servers, and have an active (hourly) project open that has scraped over 100k recs from adult-related sites (which have a higher difficulty). However this kind of project with password protection involve a risk: - you cannot scrap too fast ( i.e. only 1 thread at a time) - if I do scrap too fast, the software might be blocked or your account might be blocked.
