OUR COMPANY: Small, hot start-up seeking a freelance/contract web designer/developer/programmer to assist in creation of a website. Individual or teams welcome. THE PROJECT: Much like the beginnings of Google and Facebook, we are a small group of dedicated people with a fresh idea for a website specifically targeting the film industry. Without diving into too much detail, we’re creating a searchable, user-fed database that is fueled by filmmakers for filmmakers. Think a real estate website meets Craigslist meets VRBO but specifically for film production. YOUR ROLE: We currently have a small design/development team that have been hard at work over the past few months creating the design and building the website. As we near the deadline to go live, however, we are looking for another developer to help take the project through to completion. TIMELINE: We need someone available to start ASAP. Full time availability required. Interviews will begin the week of December 3-7, 2012. APPLY: You should submit a portfolio with online examples of your work and a resume specifying level of involvement with each sample (e.g. solitary creator, part of a team, etc.). Knowledge of PHP and SocialEngine required. Local to Los Angeles, California preferred. Ability to easily pick up material in the middle of projects a plus. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!
