Membership Web Service

This project is for the development of an XML/SOAP based web service for the purpose of supporting online membership for an existing smart-client application. This web service, hosted on IIS/.NET 2.0 needs to implement 6 methods/operations: 1) [login to view URL]() 2) [login to view URL]() 3) [login to view URL]() 4) [login to view URL]() 5) [login to view URL]() 6) [login to view URL]() ** For details on each, see attached C# codefile. These six methods/operations will allow the smart-client application to be run only by registered users. All smart-client UI development will be done by my internal staff and is considered out-of-scope. The web service operations will be built using [login to view URL] 2005, C# 2.0 and SQL Server 2005. The bidder is responsible for designing a high performing database schema to support this effort. The bidder is also responsible for configuring the runtime environment on a development server I will provide. My development server is a clean Windows 2003 server hosted by [login to view URL] and contains IIS and .NET 2.0 and has access to a shared SQLServer 2005 database and shared SMTP for emails. You will be given temporary Admin control over this system (using Windows Remote Desktop Connection) and can interact with hosting provider (and their documentation) to get it configured to support the web service runtime environment. The bidder will also provide a document outlining the configuration and management requirements for runtime environment above. This document will provide explanation of folder structure, configuration files, etc... The bidder will also provide a simple test WinForms application that demonstrates the functionality (6 service operations above) and will be used to verifying deliverable. The bidder will also provide one asp page that is used to Confirm a user account after they receive a confirmation email. See Confirm() method in attached codefile. little bit more in attached [login to view URL] ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
