wordpress enhancement

I'd like some enhancements to my wordpress blog. I use wordpress to update and add articles to a part of my site. I'd like at a few things changed: paragraph spacing seems to not expand with larger screens. add my website graphics to wordpress. Make wordpress look better to my audience. upgrade to the latest version (unless you can tell me why NOT to). The "Read the rest of this story" link needs to be bolder and a larger font. I'd like a link to my home page at the bottom.
