Purpose of the business The purpose of Gocustomerservice is to be the primary online source for all things customer service related which includes but will not be limited to customer support and customer complaints. In addition to this, Gocustomerservice will also highlight the exceptional examples of good customer, the individuals responsible for that customer service and the companies responsible. GoCustomerService is an online community unlike others in that the emphasis is on community. The majority of online communities and forums are usually script driven and unappealing to the eye, making it more difficult to follow key discussions. GoCustomerService will feel more like a social network where relationships and friendships will be forged through mutual trust. Members will be encouraged to share, offer advice and write reviews detailing their own experiences and with the use of the GoCustomerService reviews and mystery shopper application they will be able to deliver a more concise and precise report of which data will go towards developing a statistical and graphical charting of the customer service experience. We are here to share tips and offer advice on how to get the customer service you deserve. We will share real world stories on how this can be achieved while the community supports you on your journey. The intention is to start a more simplified version of what I envisage. There will be four key areas. Social networking platform using buddypress, Forums using bbpress, Customer service reports posted by myself initially and then post authors. Reviews will use WP Review Pro plugin (already having compatibility issues) and an A-Z database of Customer Service Reports (CSR's) will need to be added like www.consumerreports.com. VIP members will be highlighted using BadgeOS plugin (achievement plugin). Questions & Answers database on all things customer service related. Theme purchased Klein Nitty Gritty community wordpress theme. Site will need to be translated to French, German & Italian as I am based in Switzerland initial efforts will be concentrated in Swiss but simultaneously worldwide also as CSR's will be produced for online/offline purchases. Based on the successful production of the website using wordpress the aim is to rebuild the site from scratch in the future by which time I will have a clearer understanding of what platform language to build it on. I have also qualified for Microsoft Bizspark program so have software licences associated with that program but not put to proper use as yet. As part of that program a mobile application will need to be made of which idea i already have.
