If I understood you correctly, you have a system to manage your products and you need a faster and more reliable way to collect data in order to populate it. First of all I will have to look at what you already have and a what are your requirements. The system you are using probably has an API to manage it and if it does not, then some intermediary solutions will be needed for a secure and reliable communication between the extension and your system. But that is not a problem. My suggestion for how to accomplish this task if as follows: - We sit down and decide on the must have basis for the program. - I will do my research and prepare different solutions and designs - Then after we agree on what needs to be done, I will create a prototype for you to play around and if it is comfortable and easy to use - If everything is fine I will start tightening things, making sure nothing breaks and works securely. - Small design changes if required.
