Magento 2 Tutor & assistance setting up Vagrant and local dev environment

Magento 2 Tutor / Assistance setting up Vagrant and local dev environment We currently have a Magento 2 Cloud Commerce site that has already had some work done with data migration by an outside vendor. I'm taking over the project to see it through until launch with the same vendor. I'm learning as I go. Our current site is in Classic ASP/MsSQL and I've been managing it for close to 20 years. I will only use what I'm learning to get a our new website launched. I'm in quite a bit over my head and am having a hard time getting a development environment set up. I'm been teaching myself everything from scratch, but I'm hoping I can hire someone for assistance to help train me where I'm getting stuck. Currently, I've been able to download our Magento files from our branch. I've downloaded a vagrant box and have it running. I just can't seem to connect the two to get a testing environment that represents our "Integration" environment that Magento has in the cloud. After I get an environment successfully setup I'm also looking to further my training to help me understand the file structure etc. I'm looking to have help via video conference calls with screen share and am open to other ideas as well.
