As we discussed earlier, the friends system on my site is in need of a rebuild. I would like to attend to this part of the site before remaking the profile section, as they are related. Overall, the interface for both the friend page and friends request page is changing in order to improve interface and user experience. The older system is starting to show its age, and I want a PHP solution to this section of the site that’s free of the older Wordpress Symposium software. Attached to this post are three images showing: 1. The friends Request page and its dynamics 2. The friend page and its new updated layout and look Friend Request page: Requests stack in queue, and may be accepted or rejected. Rejection deletes the request immediately. Acceptance shows a checkmark with “accepted” next to it. The item stays in queue after accepting, so the user may click on the new friend’s profile. The Friend page: The new layout limits viewing listed friends to 16. If there are more than 16 friends, the friends page paginates the results. Each entry shows sex, status, and country. And unfriend link is provided under each item.
