RSS/XML parser

Needed: PHP code to parse RSS/XML feeds, and extract required fields into array. A feed is given as a string variable. MUST BE WRITTEN IN PHP! Two PHP functions needed: 1) PHP function that will extract general info about given feed: e.g. array FeedInfo(string feed) results = array ( [title] => 'source title' [link] => 'link to source' [pubDate] => 'publication date'; [lastBuiltDate] => 'last built date'; ) 2) A php function FeedToArray must parse any type of XML/RSS/Atom feeds (including podcast feeds) and extract required fields into array array PasreFeedtoArray (string feed, string feed_type, [additional parameters if needed]); Must be also capable of correctrly parsing CDATA entries. Some of the fields not presents in original feed (e.g. ) must remain empty in the output array. Output array must have the same structure for ALL types of feeds! results = array ( [0] => array ( [title] => '' [description] => '' [link] => ''; [author] => ''; [pubDate] => ''; [category] => ''; [enclosure url] => 'URL to enclosed podcast or video'; ) [1] => array (....) [2] .... )
