WordPress website needs API interface custom developed, to pull data from various websites into our local database, display data in the form of WordPress Posts that are listable and linkable in category and genre pages linked off navigation. The main goal of this website is an interactive rating system, with the capability for users to perform rating (instead of the standard wordpress "comments") with custom rating criteria in addition to the fields that come standard in the WordPress comments. An aggregate rating will need to be displayed on the category and individual Posts showing the aggregate user rating. We have a custom graphic designed that will depict the aggregate rating. This is also a membership website. Users will not need to become a user/member in order to rate when the site goes live. Once we have built up user registrations, we will need to make it mandatory for users to register before rating. This website will need to be high performing, optimized, and remain mobile responsive. We have installed and configured both a rating plugin and a membership plugin. They are conflicting with each other in some way, and we will need one or both plugins customized to get this functioning appropriately. We also had a developer who started working on a custom API plugin, but left partway through the project. Some of his code may be reusable. We can share this code with a new developer if that might help.
