I am looking for a programmer to develop a simple program (offline) that will allow me to easily import PDFs and Word Docs by either dragging and dropping or attaching them. The program should then extract specific text data from these documents and export it into an Excel file. It is important that the program maintains the current format of the Excel file. See attached excel for reference. Specific requirements for the project include: - Ability to import PDFs and Word Docs by dragging and dropping or attaching them - Extraction of text data from the imported documents - Exporting the extracted data into an Excel file - Maintaining the current format of the Excel file Skills and experience required for this project: - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java - Familiarity with working with PDFs and Word Docs - Experience in data extraction and manipulation - Knowledge of Excel and its formatting capabilities While I have no preference for the programming language to be used, I do have an existing Excel format that can be utilized for this project. The ideal freelancer for this job would have a strong background in programming, particularly in Python or Java, and experience with handling PDFs, Word Docs, and Excel files.
