Hi, I am looking for a bookkeeper to check approximately 1,000 transactions that have been input onto Xero for a small Australian business. Almost all of the transactions have been input onto Xero for the whole of the 2015-2016 financial year. I just need a bookkeeper to check everything has been input correctly, and if anything is not correct, to either fix up the error where possible or to request additional information to help you clean up any errors. To help you in making a quotation I have included some additional details below to help you see how many hours of work might be involved. 14 clients. 3 of the 14 clients make up 85% of the revenue. Revenue is less than $390,000. 1 main bank account. 6 small sub-bank accounts. 1 paypal account. Almost all of the transactions have been input onto Xero. They just need double checking. At the end, after everything has been checked (and corrected, where necessary), all I need is the following reports sent to me in pdf: - Monthly P&L reports for each of the 12 months (July 2015 to June 2016.) - Quarterly P&L reports for Q1 to Q4 (July 2015 to June 2016). - Half yearly P&L reports (July 2015 to Dec 2015 & Jan 2016 to Jun 2016). - 12 month P&L report (July 2015 to Jun 2016). - Balance Sheet (as at June 30, 2016). Hi! I am a practicing Chartered Accountant and have been associated with several Australian businesses (companies as well as sole proprietorship). I am working for clients based in Melbourne and Sydney who are in businesses like telecom, energy retail, online retail store, RTO, salon, etc. I see that you have multiple bank accounts including PayPal. PayPal is a grey area where most of the businesses (if not assisted by an accountant) recognize net receipt as sales and do not show paypal fee separately. This is a wrong accounting method and if the same is yours as well, you would have also reported incorrect figures to ATO. We maintain books, process payroll, help client in filing BAS, finalise books, help with income taxes, provide them analytical reports, etc. While working for these clients I have had chance to work and understand Australian taxation at lenghts. As a result I can confidently say that I have a good grip on GST, BAS, Super, PAYG withholding as well as installments. My team has a hands on experience of working on XERO (AM A XERO BRONZE PARTNER) and MYOB and trust me, I've got the skills that you require.
