We are looking for an outsource provider to do some web data collection / web research / web data mining / web data extraction to support our New Zealand based consultancy service. The types of information we need (for specific industries & geographies based on the client business), for each project, includes the following: i Business profiles (key products, size, revenue, turnover, acquisitions, etc. ii Industry demographics (size, distribution, etc.) iii Geographic profiles (size, GDP, etc.) iv Industry trends v Consumer trends We expect each project would consist of a number of days of web data collection work. It will be important to have a simple means of constant communication to ensure data being collected is in line with expectations (i.e. daily) before further work is carried out. This will be particularly important in the early stages of a partnership as you get to know what it is that we need, and we hope the communication requirements will decrease over time. The data and/or information will need to be provided to us in MS Excel & MS Powerpoint formats as appropriate. Initially we would like to do a trial project to see if we can work together on an ongoing basis. The trial project will be a live client and will need to be completed in a set timeframe. We will provide a more specific brief at the start of the trial. The complication is that we need to start the trial project ASAP. Ideally we would like to set up a call for the week commencing 10th May NZ time to discuss our requirements and sign off a quote (probably based on an hourly rate for the trial). If the trial is successful then we can discuss arrangements for a more permanent relationship. We are interested in hearing from anyone who can deliver on the above requirements.
