Need a java class module done which addresses the USB-RS232 connected handheld radio receiver. Will be using RAMIC (ASCII codes that interact with the handheld). Must be able to work in 32/64 bit Windows 7 or higher. Will provide all interfacing files needed for development in Netbeans 8.0.2 and current JDK. Must be able to display reads from the handheld (Handheld and two transmitters will also be provided). Currently works in Windows 7 (32 OS) with FTDI USB-RS232 chip set and Tera-Term terminal program. Need to be able to capture the same to display within a simple java jFrame/jPanel textfields. (1) Need to search for open port (2) Need to allow for port selection (3) Need to send ASCII RAMIC codes to handheld (4) Need to receive data stream from the Handheld (5) Need to display data onto text fields within a simple JFrame/jPanel.

Hello, I am interested in developing this program. I must admit, I have never done anything like this. Despite that, I have an excellent knowledge of Java and I know it could be done fairly not that hard. Although Java doesn't officially support usb connections, but there are few libraries that do that, so sending messages and receiving data streams wont be a problem. I must point out a problem here, knowing that you and I live in different continents, you could not provide me with handheld and transmitters, but I can suggest a fair tactic. I do my research and program an app that should work, and then test it via your computer with connected receiver by using teamviewer. I think that would be an optimal way to solve this problem. Again, I haven't done this kind of project, but I'm sure I can do it and meet the deadline. If you choose me and I fail to deliver you can get a full refund of the milestone, I won't dispute.
