Your job is to edit the included book. The book is a handbook consisting of 91 pages in Open Office's file format. You must have experience in Open Office in order to do this job. In practice, the job includes these tasks: 1. Spell check the text and fix any typos. 2. Proof read the text and fix any grammatical problems and inconsistencies. 3. Some parts of the book refer to the user of the program as "user", some parts as "you". Unify this in a way all parts of the text refer to the user/reader as "you". 4. Fix the image captions. The image captions are not numbered correctly and the image caption is not visible for some images. 5. Fix the Table of Contents. If the book is exported to PDF, the table of contents is not indended correctly. 6. Fix the images, some images are scaled and that causes them not to look good. All the images should be displayed with 100% size. 7. Make sure page changes are made smoothly. For example, avoid having to split a sentence from the end of one page to the beginning of the next page. Always try to start and end a page with a full paragraph. Starting a new subject (i.e. Headline 1 level) should always occur with a new page, unless it's a very short paragraph. When the job is completed, you will send me two documents: 1. The edited handbook file in ODT (Open Office) format. 2. A text file that lists all the changes you have made to the handbook. Nothing fancy, just a list of changes. Very good knowledge of English is a must for this job. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
