WEB SITE DESIGN - GRAPHIC

Hello, we completed some programming issues and now are looking for web designers / graphic artists to give our site a completely new look. Please take your time to review and understand the scope of the project. We included some references and observations. Some php programming will be probably be needed. Details follow below: ## Deliverables [login to view URL] is a directory where pizza joints can advertise in two modes: free and paid. The free mode is a simple listing. The paid mode allows for a complete page showing a map, video, images and more detailed information. In both cases, users have a choice of three templates. In the free ad mode, the templates only vary in color. In the paid ad mode, the templates vary in the same colors as the free ad mode, plus a few design differences. Please include these 3 templates to your customization list. (We will discuss this later). There is also a Classified section that works similarly to the paid ad mode. All sections have a member’s area, where users control their accounts. Besides that, there are other areas on the site, like search results pages, for ads and classifieds and payment page. There is also the signup area, which is very important to us. Please explore (and signup) our site to make sure you account for every page. Programming Project: 1)[login to view URL] - this page currently has 3 options: advertise paid, advertise free, and classified (via tab). Since we joined the paid and free process, we only need 2 options: advertise (free), and classified (via tab). So please join the paid and free to a "button" called "Anuncie Gratis" ("advertise for free") 2)we also need to create a page, immediately before the end of the signup process (the payment page), which will show a preview of both ads, with the "paid ad" being prominent. If the first is selected, go to payment page, if the free one is selected, go to a page you must also create ("thank you and exit page")-we will send content. Graphic Project includes: 1)Complete Graphic makeover-2 options (can be static) at the beginning of the project, to agree on a "path". 2)3 user templates-the templates mentioned above should be included in the design project 3)default image for ad, when user does not upload one 4)Page Curl art and instalation-if you dont know what this is, see here: [login to view URL] What we intend to advertise here is something like "Order online", then "Soon". We will send the actual text once we start. *There is no need for you to purchase anything. REFERENCES We are a pizza directory but soon it will be possible to order pizzas online. That is why we like the following restaurant sites. We also mentioned tumblr, to show the simplicity we aim for. What they have in common is they are "alive". Web 2.0 style with big fonts, big but few buttons, etc. We like to treat the screen as if it were an interactive touch screen, with intuitive buttons and easy to follow layout. Big non conflicting areas, intuitive navigation, with items "responding" to mouseovers. We like functionality but we also want to add some "fun" to it. What we need to do is this: create for the user, the will to order pizza. And then make it easy for him to do so-first by finding the pizza place he wants, and then by having a big "order" button on the advertiser's page. So we think the main item at the home page should be a frame with pictures of pizzas, with animated transitions between them, so we promote the food, instead of a restaurant. Use free stock images for now and we will send ours later. BTW, you can disagree with this option and suggest something else! Here's the list of refs, (we attached screenshots). Of course, since we dont have ordering available yet, please use the references as a guide, in terms of colors and buttons. In the future, when we add features, we will need additional design, but while that does not happen, we want a makeover that will be similar to the refs, so when we add features and re-design, the transition will be "smoother". REFS AND COMMENTS [login to view URL] - we love simplicity - users dont have tons of choices-they end up doing the right thing even when they dont mean to!! Here are excellent examples of forms, buttons, sections, etc. [login to view URL] / [login to view URL] - colors on the product page, layout [login to view URL] - colors, green buttons [login to view URL] - colors and layout Facebook and Orkut - these social sites are very popular here and we think that we should follow some general guidelines in regard to text size, leading, colors and etc. to make navigation more "familiar" to users. [login to view URL] - the signup process (forms) is essential for us-we need it to appear simple and easy. We included a form from a google event, that is very clean and clear. It also has a lot more "breathing space" or "elbow room" than our current form-we like that! Please feel free to send questions. We would also like to see some references of your previous work. And as always, speed and price count, but ultimately, we are willing to pay a little more and wait a little longer for great work!
