check a vmware virtual machine

somebody installed a vmware virtual machine on a linux box with ubuntu v. 11.04 . This VM should work as a RDP server for multiple remote users. Unfortunately we experiement a few issues (see attachment). The selected user will have root access to the server via ssh and administrator access to the vmware panel. He will fix the 2 issues listed in the attachment. Also he will drop restrictions on the downloading of files from internet (we don't want trusted sites, etc). A 2nd VM that was installed in the same server but is no more wanted. The selected user will drop it.
