Web Development on a Wordpress Site

Ok here is my problem. I am building a website using wordpress and buddypress. I am running into an issue regarding the profiles. Here is what I want: I am pulling feeds via an RSS Aggregator. Each feed that I pull in has different categories and tags. For instance, 'Feed X' is put into Category 'X'. Now I want to make different groups that relate to the feeds I am pulling in. Perhaps I make 'Group XYZ'. When a member joins this group, I would like them to see feeds from the categories x, y, and z. As a result, when the feeds automatically post on the Group page, they should carry over to the members profile if they are subscribed to the group. So basically I need a way to show specific blog posts on group pages based on category. Then I need this to carry over to a members 'activity' if they are subscribed to that group. Pretty simple. That is really the only thing I need fixed on my site. I know wordpress very well however I am not the most fluent at HTML, that is why I am outsourcing. I need it done pretty soon so I will probably award this project early on.
