Front End Web Developer Needed for Web Application

We are an online education and test preparation company based in midtown Atlanta, looking for a front end web developer to fulfill a current contract. The front end web developer will be responsible for a combination of website enhancement and the creation of new web pages based on an existing HTML/CSS site template. Your responsibilities will include: • Creating web pages using predominantly HTML and CSS (note: some Java Script and JQuery will also be required). • Producing a modern design in line with current trends in our sector (education and technology). • Producing dynamic pages for a web application which can be easily integrated with back-end development. • Confirming that all pages/ site graphics created display correctly in order to give the optimum user experience. • Ensuring cross-browser compatibility Job Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years working in front end web development. • Fluent (and up to date) with development tools including HTML, CSS, Java Script, JQuery and Adobe Creative Suite. • Strong eye for design and a desire to maximize user experience. • Experience working with web applications with a proven ability to seamlessly integrate front-to-back-end functionality • Strong understanding of web navigation and cross-browser compatibility. • Ability to work closely with the back-end development team.
