The main aim is to have a website that users can log into to view the energy usage both current and historical for their building. There will be a minimum of 6 energy readings per building. It must be user friendly and display the data in a graphical format. Which can be printed off if necessary, at the end of each month the energy usage must be condensed into a report for each of the users. Data will be send in every 10seconds via HTTP POST or HTTP GET protocol to mySQL server and will have an ID, timestamp and a value. Unless a better idea is proposed. Users will have access to only certain IDs and must be able to group them by date (month, year, quarter) and ID as well as view them in real time. Data must be displayed graphically - pie, bar, line diagrams. Reports must be able to be generated at the end of each month, quarter and year which summarises the data and automatically emailed to certain users email addresses. IDs must be able to be grouped for the admin for each user and be able to be overlayed with one another to compare buildings for a given time period. More features may be asked for but currently have not be thought through yet.
