jQuery show/hide assistance

I have a website in dev that needs a simple show/hide for some DIVs that are already on the page. I have built the class selector. I just need it to operate as follows: <ul> <li><a href="#" class="item1">Name</li> <li><a href="#" class="item2">Name</li> <li><a href="#" class="item3">Name</li> </ul> <div class="show1">this</div> <div class="show2">this</div> <div class="show3">this</div> The <div>s are display:none so it will need display:block added to it on hover of <a>. I need them to fade in. I need them to fadeout when mouse leave the <a> or <div>. I know jQuery has a function for this. I am running out of time. Need a spotter. There are questions I have, and will pay more for an answer, with superfish and wp layerslider. But not necessary. Just need a good jQuery guy.
