The brief is to produce a system that will allow an unlimited number of design templates to be developed based on the following approach:
Code is to be written that creates the containers for the site ( shells) , and then to code a library of individual panels that form the css detail within those containers - with Css and HTML structured in such a way that the library of panels and re-use them on different designs.
The panels need to have a consistent css approach so that the css from one panel does not clash with another - therefore each panel will have a unique panel_ID and the css classes can use this as a prefix before all classes.
I would like css to be structured in such a way that the fonts, the font colours and the background colours can be at the head of the css files ( or in a separate css file ) and can be edited by designers without having to touch the complex structural css.
I expect that bootstrap would be used in the responsive code in order to tie in with existing site code.
The design styles will be varied - most are standard HTML, however one involves a two layer vertical parallax, and one involved three layer horizontal parallax.
The aim of the project is to create a library of panels that can be re-used in future designs. For example a blog list and blog detail page that can feature in any of my sites and that will have <h1> <h2> and <p> styles etc that will fit into a common approach.
The panel code will involve creating panels for navigation styles, footer styles, text panels and images panels and sliders as detailed in the attached PDFs. Following this project there will be further work to build the library of Shells and Panels.
All work needs to be cross platform and responsive to display on desktop, tablet and smartphone.
