Create Python script that works with HTML and SQL

I have a special software that tracks users activity and inactivity computer time. Start time as the first activity or logon, end time as the last or logoff and counts activity and inactivity periods. I already have a SQL request that retrieve necessary information. But it might require some tweaking. I need a script that retrieves data from my SQL and produces an HTML report for DAILY or MONTLY attendance time and activity periods. 1. The scripts has to be on Python 2. It should constant in the code (at the beginning) definitions: - authentication and connection string to the SQL - output file location. The output files also include the date of the reports. If file exist at the output path, rewrite it. - locations and names of people to include to the report. See a report example. - other constants if necessary 3. The script should be well documented 4. If it runs with parameter "d" - produce a report for the current day; "m" - current month 5. Parameter "m" and "2017-02" generates monthly report for February 2017, etc.; Parameter "d" and "2017-05-01" daily report for May 1-st, 2017. 6. Examples of the reports will be provided. 7. I also need a Python script with a SQL query that incerts start and end times for a specific user
