We are looking for a talented and experienced full stack developer to create a website for a new eSports league. The website will serve as the central hub for the league, providing information, media, and communication tools for players, managers, and administrators.
The league website will have various features including; user login portals, team pages with roster & statistical views, league wide standings & statistics, schedules, media hubs, game stream integrations, highlights, transactions, news & articles, chat rooms, and administrative dashboards for managing league settings and transactions.
Rough Blueprint:
A) Homepage - Introduction to the league. Upcoming & recent games, highlights, news, updates, announcements and login portal for players, managers, & admins.
B) About Us - Basic information about the league, its history, its founders and its mission statement.
C) Rules - A detailed breakdown of the league's rules, regulations, and policies.
D) Teams - Pages for each team in the league. Sections for team rosters, statistics, and budget overview with player contracts.
E) Standings - Displaying current league standings.
F) Stats - single season, career, individual player, team, hot/cold streaks, playoffs, league leaders.
G) Schedule - display of league schedule, and individual team schedules
H) Media - Hub for all league media, including game streams, highlights, transactions, and articles.
I) Chats - League wide chat, League Managers chat, Team chats, Administrators chat.
J) Admin - Capable of; all player movement for league transactions, correcting any game results in cases of error or forfeiture, editing team information & settings(names, logos, and rosters), managing league settings & page displays.
K) Player Dashboard - consists of; action center to submit league forms, ability to input availability for upcoming team games, access to view their team bulletin board, access to a league and team chats
L) Managers Dashboard - Consists of; all of Player Dashboard, an action center for submitting incident &/or transaction forms(including trades, free agent signings, and waivers), submitting lineups for each game (based on player selected availability) and posting to a team-only bulletin board to update the team, access to league managers chat.
M) Social Media Integration - Integration with social media platforms to allow for easy sharing of league news and highlights.
N) Design and Branding - The website should be designed around gaming and hockey, with a modern and engaging visual aesthetic. League logo should be prominently displayed throughout the website. The color scheme and typography should be consistent throughout the site for a cohesive look and feel.
O) Target Audience - The target audience for the website is hockey fans, competitive gamers, and hockey gamers. The audience is mainly males aged 16-35.
**Media and content is created by the league. Stats are pulled from the video game's own API endpoint.**
