My project is to develop a vehicle maintenance/repair website preferably using word press. I also want to have the same features on iphone/android app so that users can access it from mobile devices. The idea of the project is as below, The vehicle service center/repairer should be able to create an account. This will be a "Maintainer account" that will have information of the maintainer such as name, address, contact details etc. Then they should be able to list down the vehicle brands/types they maintain/repair, the services they offer and the available time slots per day. The users should be able to create an account, "user account" and add in their information such as name, address, contact details, vehicle brand and model, year of manufacture, registration numbers, ODO meter reading and special features in vehicle. Then they should be able to book an appointment with the vehicle maintainer by selecting the maintainer, type of service required, and time slot that they wish to come in. This should generate an email that will be sent to the maintainers given email account and also send a notification to the maintainers app. If the Maintainer accepts the appointment, a confirmation email should be sent to the user and a notification to the users app confirming the appointment. If not the maintainer should be able to propose a new date/time for the appointment which will trigger an email and a notification to the user. If the user accepts this, the appointment will be confirmed. The users will be able to rate the maintainers work on a scale of 1 to 5 after the job is completed. The website and app should pop up telling the user to rate the job once the time slot of the job expires. The pricing module will be structured to charge only vehicle maintainers on a monthly basis for the use of the online service. it will be free for 3 months.
