Portal for clinics and treatments

Hello freelancers. To understand the following, these are the types of interacting users: End user - someone who is browsing the web portal to find and/or book treatment for some medical condition. Admin - owner/supporters of the web portal. Practitioner - someone who is providing treatment to medical conditions. Clinic - a house of several practitioners. A clinic is sort of a group of practitioners. The first practitioner will create the clinic and invite the other practitioners to sign up to that clinic. I need your help with developing a healthcare webportal where end users can browse for clinics and practitioners. It will be similar to [login to view URL] just for healthcare. The clinics and practitioners have editable profile pages with pictures, profile texts, user-submitted testimonials and the possibility for end users to make a booking, which invokes online credit card payment (easy implementation of external payment service). Booking system is going to be sort of a module in it self. In the clinic it is possible to set up different consultation types - along with their prices - which can be booked, set schedule (working hours, holidays, etc.) for each practitioner. Settings for the booking module include "allow only booking for existing clients" and similar. Clients are end users which are added to the clinics booking system once the client makes a booking or by accepting an e-mail invite, which the clinic can send. Each client in the booking system of the respective clinic has a "journal". There will also be a payment history for the clinic. Back to the webportal. Clinics (which means all its practitioners) can offer "last minute deals" which is an open slot in their booking calendar, that they can set for sale with some discount. Some restrictions and requirements will be applied. When practitioners upload pictures they will be measured for minimum resolution/quality and then be required to use a cropper in the browser to fit the picture in a required aspect ratio. And even after this the admin must have a simple and fast way to approve/disapprove pictures. The search function should allow to search for "medical problem", "name of practitioner/clinic", "location/city/postal code" and "type of treatment". Notes: "Auto complete Ajax-dropdowns", ordering by relevance. Additional filtering by price, distance, rating, number of testimonials, gender, available time, etc. The profile page will additionally provide functionality to contact the practitioner/clinic, recommend to a friend, subscribe, save in favorites, related practitioners, Facebook-like-box for the practitioner's Facebook-domain, YouTube/Vimeo-embedding. == Gift cards End users should be able to order gift cards which will serve as coupons for purchasing bookings. == Technical Admin CMS - admin should be able to edit text and replace images easily on the website. I am imagining some simple functionality similar to http://sitecake.com. Automatic submission of "last minute deals" if a client booking cancellation occurs in a given timeframe. Admin change content of all outbound e-mails from admin panel. Automatic e-mail reminder in 3 months interval for practitioners whether their details are correct. Automatic e-mail/text message to remind clients of their booking time. Statistics - metrics such number of bookings, page views, etc. should be stored for admins. == Integrations Text messages will be send in some scenarios in addition to e-mail. This integration must be made to [login to view URL] - they have a simple HTTP-API. Newsletter subscriptions should be send to MailChimp. All money handling should be sent by API to an accounting system. Facebook integration for end users to also see which of their friends have used a clinic for example. == End notes Barebone development and full wireframes is done for BOOKING SYSTEM part. The overall layout design HTML is in place for the system. Our Git repo and test server should be used.
