wordpress small modification

Hi Guys, I need a very quick and simple thing done on my wordpress blog theme. All I need is to show the total of posts for some categories I have, I just need to know the function that does this little magic.. that's the website: [login to view URL] you'll see (php) beside the small categories text, all I need is to show the total of posts in those categories there. If you can tell me the function I can do that my self and test right away and pay you, if there's any problem I can give you the ftp and wordpress login info to check what's going on, but I'm sure it will be more than simple.. it won't take more than 10 minutes for who knows what's doing. I'm willing to pay $10 for this, I need that asap, I'll be checking my inbox messages here for the next 3 hours. I got more projects for the right person. Obs: I'll input the php code to show the total of posts manually.. so there's no need to do anything else, just the code to return the total of posts for one category and I'll use the code just changing it to show the other categories.
