Need to create a php script to upload thousands of lines into mysql form .csv file, I want to avoid to insert line by line due to server performance. The script should do: 1. read a .csv file located in server and identify each column in a separate variable. For example $file = @fopen("'".$file_name."'", "r"); $lines = @file($file_name); $type_sep = ","; foreach ($lines as $line) { $items = explode($type_sep, $line); $col1= $items[$col1]; $col2= $items[$col2]; $col3= $items[$col3]; } 2. If file has 2000 lines the script should construct and sql query withing a loop and execute the query every time that meet an specific value from a variable, for example every 100 lines that comes from variable $execute _every = 100; .
