Hi, I have a wordpress website we are building with the avada theme, for a real estate website. Our client is asking if we can improve the search facility, to include bedrooms, bathrooms etc, and it appears this is limited within avada theme. The avada support recommended using Relevanssi Search plugin to get my desired outcome, but i have little experience with this. Im looking for a wordpress expert that can come on on this quick jobs and help with the search bar. the three options we have working already within the avada theme are 'property type', 'options' and 'location'. but we would like help someone fixing the others. Here is some info from the avada support: For the bedrooms count search, that'll be a bit tricky as each property's bedrooms value is saved in an ACF field. Avada relies on the stock search module from WordPress and that doesn't have an option to search through custom fields. You'll notice even on the search form we have on the real estate prebuilt site, it doesn't have such a bedrooms (or any other ACF field) based search option): [login to view URL] For such an advanced search: You can a different plugin like below one as this has worked for other users in the past: [login to view URL] It offers searching based on tags/field names and might work better. Without such a plugin it won't be possible to search outside of post body text/title text as that is a limitation from WordPress side. ... I searched around and came across this resource from relevanssi, you can check it out to see if it guides you in the right direction: [login to view URL] I would like you too see my image attached, and price me to fix this quick issue. €£¢???? I need to also in the future know how to edit this so a short explainer for me would be great.
