I am looking for a web development company or individual to develop a new related to OCR (Obstacle Course Racing) which is still a young sport with a lot of potential. The most famous of which is the REEBOK SPARTAN RACE. I want a "Trip Advisor" type webs platform developed but limited to OCR. I will provide full hosting as well as the URL for this project. This project will most likely be best in PHP but I am open to other suggestions of programming languages. The rating site will cover all OCR races that wish to add their race to the site, opening an account with our platform. Amongst other functions, here is what I am looking for, The site will be similar to the one at [login to view URL] but better organized BY COUNTRY. I will specify at a later date the actual menu items to include but they will be at least "OCRs & REVIEWS", "OCR TRAINING & COACHING", "OCR GEAR", OCR DISCOUNTS" - Both race organizers and users (racers) can add a new race to the system. All additions need to be approved by me as the admin before they are published. Admins (myself for example) are also able to add races. When a race organizer adds their race,they are not able to review, only add the race. When a user (racer) adds a race - The menu items "OCRs & REVIEWS", "OCR TRAINING & COACHING" and "OCR DISCOUNTS" will go to a map view so the user can choose his/her country as these options need to be organized by country. - Inside each listing, there should be a COMPLETE set of options for the review. STRUCTURE. - Home page similar to Trip Advisor with the search box, "Find an OCR" and an optional country and month and year search box. For example, the user can put in the name of the race and choose November and 2018 and the desired country. - Listings/ratings pages. 5 star rating system for various characteristics such as "difficulty", "mud", "water", "obstacles", "suspension", "running", "atmosphere", "organization", "judges", "scenery", "kid-friendly", etc... These will obviously be different for Races and TRAINING&COACHING. If a user (racer) adds a race, their should be the option for the race owner (organizer) to be able to "claim" the race as theirs and be able to edit certain information about the race but NOT edit the reviews. There should also be an ads (in the left or right columns and also a paid banner system with click conversion statistics for the advertiser as I wish to sell advertising and also "features races" on the pages. The website needs to be responsive, perfect for mobiles and tablets is a MUST. There is a lot more that can be discussed as the project is being developed. I have no deadline for this project, I am not in hurry. Thanks!
